Chief LeTava Mabilijengo
Sis. LeTava is a steadfast activist for the restoration of Black American Africans and the Matriarchal value system throughout the diaspora. She is an electrifying motivational speaker and author, whose greatest work prior to this course, is as founder of H.E.R. Living Campus-- an 8-acre immersive learning campus and retreat facility in Indiana. She is the creator of the "WOMAN-up!" conference series and The Black Woman's Agenda-- a set of training units in the areas of Nation-building, spirituality, parenting, and African-centered male/female relationships. She has put these principles into practice for more than thirty years and has expanded her work to Belize, Central America, (where she resides part-time).
Sis. LeTava says the inspiration for this course came when she asked herself, "If I had it to do all over again, what play cards would I teach my 27 year old self?" The results of that self reflections is Substantive Living: Sustainable Quality of Life Beyond Consumerism.
